Chuck Gilchrist

Chuck brings 35 years of pro audio experience to TREP. After graduating from the University of Pittsburgh where he majored in saxophone and arranging he opened North Shore Audio- a full service production company. North Shore Audio specialized in large scale Concert Sound systems and backline rentals until its demise from “Hurricane Ivan” in 2004. Chuck has a long term relationship with JBL , Crown and Yamaha which are the basis of TREP’s high quality sound reinforcement inventory. Chucks client list is a proverbial Who’s Who of local and national artists including “Train”, “Vertical Horizon”, “The Four Tops”, “The Temptations”, “Ray Charles”, “Rascal Flatts”, “Brad Paisley”, “The Clarks”, “BE Taylor”, “The Povertyneck Hillbillies”, and hundreds more. Chuck was also production coordinator for the WQED TV special “ The Povertyneck Hillbillies Live”. Chuck has designed hundreds of corporate audio events nationwide, among them the” Pennsylvania Governors Inauguration Ball”.

With over 5000 shows to his credit he brings a world of experience as Manager of the Audio department at TREP.
